Behind the scenes…

After an order is placed, the first thing that’s done immediately by the Customer Support is to check and confirm the order with the customer. Details such as measurements, styling, etc are verified with the customers. After the Customer Support is done with its job, it’s time for the designers and dressmakers to do theirs.

If the order is for a Ready-to-Wear outfit, then the respective outfit is fished out from the inventory. In case of a Customized outfit, the required fabrics are taken from the fabric section of the inventory.

The designers set to work by conceptualizing and coming up with new flattering designs for the outfits to be made, keeping in mind the customer’s specifications. Surrounded by fabric swatches, embellishment samples, rough sketches of design, etc, the designers or ‘The Thinkers’ of Cbazaar are always churning out and implementing their amazing design ideas to make you look your beautiful best.

After the designers are done with designing the Customized outfits or altering the design of Readymade outfits as per the instructions of the customers, it’s time for the outfit to actually get made or altered, as the case may be. The team of expert dressmakers gets going with its work quite skillfully. The diligent snip of scissors and the cluck-clacks of sewing machines pursue throughout the day in order to deliver every outfit on time. Sharing life’s little ups and downs, fascinating as well as mundane experiences, few fond memories, occasional cups of tea and coffee along with filmy gossip is what makes the otherwise known as ‘Production Department’, a home away from home for the people working therein.

Once the outfit is made, it’s time for the finishing touches. Right from hemming to putting on hooks or buttons or adding the good stuff (sequins, beads, bugle beads, lace, etc), a proper finishing is what makes a well tailored outfit a perfect one.

Once the outfit is completely made along with its finishing, it’s QC time. Every inch of the garment is checked for imperfections along with the measurements to ensure that it adheres to the measurement details provided by you. Presence of flaws such as the stitch running out, few missing embellishments, stray threads, etc is quite natural especially when an outfit is made from scratch; hence, the outfits are carefully scanned by the QC people and sent back for rectification, if required.

After the flaws, if any, are rectified and the outfit is perfect, in the true sense of the word, it is ready to be shipped to you. It is carefully packed and sent to the always-frantic, FedEx-envelopes-and-bubble-wrap-infested Logistics Department for shipment. These are the guys who ensure that it reaches your doorstep on time.
